Before buying, be sure the light size of your choice can fit where you want to mount it. Not all vehicles can mount a 9” light on a bumper, for example, so a 5” or 7” may be needed.
Scope LED Driving Lights: Plenty Of Power And Features
No matter which Scope lights you choose or which beam pattern you select, you’ll get a powerful product assured to illuminate the trails. Scope lights have hooded reflectors which capture light with great efficiency compared to traditional reflector cups minimizing light loss. The total internal reflection (TIR) lenses run light through the center of the driving light, capturing 100% of the LED’s output. This ensures optimal lighting efficiency and projection.
Scope lights also have diffused optic lenses on the sides utilizing four LEDs to provide enhanced peripheral vision. When the lights are off, these side-shooting LEDs can be used as driving lights along with illuminated branding on top.
Since efficient heat dissipation is crucial for the performance and longevity of the LEDs, Ironman 4x4 has its LEDs mounted directly to the cast housing for maximum brightness over extended periods.
Eclipse 5x7: Power in a Rectangular Shape
The Eclipse 5x7 is a rectangular LED light with loads of light. The Extreme Projection Reflectors (EPR) offer an exceptionally usable symmetrical 140° beam pattern for great side-to-side and foreground lighting with a hyper-long center beam—great for high speeds. The Corrosion Defense System (CDS) protects against UV, salt-spray, and vibration offering up a super-durable LED light. Finally, the Advanced Optical Clarity (AOC) applies similar manufacturing processes that high-end watch makers use. It offers up the highest optical clarity and UV-fade to date. The Eclipse 5x7 kit also includes a wiring harness.
The Importance of Light
Having good auxiliary driving lights can mean the difference between seeing what’s ahead and not. Whether that’s a trail hazard, wildlife, or another vehicle, having good LED lighting is important, and can be something that improves safety. With Ironman 4x4’s deep line of driving lights, both Scope and the Eclipse 5x7, you’re sure to find exactly what you need for your vehicle, no matter where the trail will take you.
